Wow, what a great experience I have had with HQAA. Every person that I have talked to in the HQAA organization have been super friendly, helpful and very professional during the Accreditation process. I started the process on November 22, 2021 and my site survey was performed 65 days later. My Accreditation Coach, Kim Freeman, and my Field Surveyor, Harold Davis are Rock Stars! I would recommend HQAA to everyone looking for Accreditation.
Excellent program. I consider it an integral part in preparing for our survey and placing us in an "anytime" mode for inspections, surveys, etc. from any agency. Our coach is excellent in providing details and direction. She is truly objective. Much to our benefit!
It has been a pleasure working with Harold, Kim, and the HQAA team. Harold Davis provided thoughtful insight on ways we can improve and grow our DME business. We are a small, two-person operation; however, Harold made suggestions on how to prepare for growth as we add staff. The accreditation process can be overwhelming, even for a small company; the HQAA staff and the workroom tools provided a lot of support when we needed help.
This process works great. The Workroom enables you to make certain that all of your policies are complete and up to date, and we couldn't be happier with our surveyor, Harold Davis. Harold's approach is spot on -- he's here to help us to meet Accreditation Standards and help us correct any deficiencies. Every time he comes, he leaves us with some solid recommendations that will help our business.
This was my first accreditation as the compliance coordinator for a DME. I cannot tell you how helpful the online breakdown of each segment was to me. Also, having a work coach with me side by side was incredibly helpful; I learned so much during this time. Lastly, the Power Packs are very helpful and I plan to integrate them into our Quality and Infection Control/Safety programs.
I looked at other accreditation services but from the first call I knew HQAA was the right choice. Without any previous experience I was able to work through the process THANKS to the coach and a clearly defined process. The coach was thorough, professional and didn't let me cut corners. I just wanted to be accredited...she knew what it was going to take to get there. On top of that -- she matched my pace and always responded quickly to my questions. Thanks HQAA.

I really have nothing to add to 'improve the experience thus far". I am new to this job, to working for health care, HME and this is my first accreditation experience. Kim Freeman, my workroom coach, was amazingly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. The workroom itself was very user friendly and the power packs were helpful.
When my business partner and I joined HQAA, Lore Thompson was assigned to us as our coach. From the very beginning, she was EXTREMELY professional, kind and informative. She walked and guided us through the work room, the modules and provided us with very helpful feedback throughout the entire process. Each and every time we called for questions or concerns, we were able to speak to her directly. In the rare occasion in which she was out of the office, other staff members from HQAA were also VERY helpful, kind and insightful.
After Lore and I closed the workroom, my business partner and I knew that at any given moment, our Accreditation Surveyor was going to be coming in to inspect our facility. Within two weeks, Angelica Huerta walked into our door. Angelica is a PHENOMENAL member of the HQAA community. She was SO helpful, patient and knowledgeable within the realm of DME rules, regulations, policies, procedures, laws, and quality standards. We were beyond satisfied with Ms. Huerta's visit. Admittedly, we have a few deficiencies in which we are working on at this moment, and plan to submit our report of corrections by next week (the latest).
Overall, I would recommend HQAA to everyone and anyone who asks about a potential Accreditation Company in the future. Both Lore Thompson and Angelica Huerta exceeded our expectations when it came to the entire accreditation process. A+++++

The process of sending policies and procedures online prior to physical survey allows for a much smoother process. Any variances are immediately addressed and corrected. Makes so much sense.
The physical surveyor was polite and thorough. She was able to give some pointers to improve the services. Very much appreciated.
Overall, the process focused on improving the services offered. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful.
You all were great, Always answered my questions even when I didn't understand the answers, you all reexplained until I did understand, The surveyor was great, He gave me some good feedback on what I need to do and how to maintain and be ready for the next time
No area for improvement comes to mind, but I would like to mention how appreciative I am for all the help and guidance that I received throughout the accreditation process. From workroom setup to on-site survey, your staff has treated us with a level of kindness and respect that is altogether uncommon in today's world. Thank you!
The process was simple and my coach Kim was very nice and understanding. My surveyor Curtis was the best. He is so knowledgeable and educates you while making sure your company understands why they are asked to do what they do. Thanks Atyia
My coach and surveyor were exceedingly patient and respectful of my concerns and "opinions". Both went out of their way to explain the reasons for things I questioned. This survey was actually an information and pretty pleasant experience!
This is my fourth time to go through the accreditation process. It gets easier each time. Organization of the workroom is great.... easy to use and my Coach identified some areas that I would not have thought about.
I have to say this was the best experience I have had with an accreditation survey. The surveyor was great to work and very informative. Being new with HQAA he walked me through how the HQAA process works and the steps after the survey was complete. Best of all, I was able to continue with most of my normal work routine throughout the survey. In the past, the surveyors have had me with them most of the time showing them everything they were looking for which meant my work was getting behind. Also, the workroom made a breeze to get through the initial process. I am so glad I made the switch to HQAA.
I rely on HQAA to keep me on track and in compliance. This will be our 4th audit/accreditation with HQAA and I appreciate the professionalism and thoroughness.
