We are very pleased with the process. The workroom is "user friendly" and it's easy to see where the company is in the accreditation timeline.
After accreditation, ACT allows us to stay on track with any policy/procedure changes and avoids last minute panic.
Our experience was refreshing and restored my faith in the process. Kim was wonderful, and needs a bonus for therapy given to me! Jim was nice and very accommodating and Jodi was simply the cream and cherries in her approach and comfort level in her duties to assure our furthered successs. I could not be happier for choosing HQAA as our compliance and accreditation team.

I will openly admit this was my first experience with HQAA. With over 20 years in the healthcare industry, my knowledge was strictly based on JCAHO and their process. Mobility Plus has gone through the accreditation process with HQAA 4 times! The last two times Jodi A. was assigned to conduct our survey. We could not be happier with the results. Jodi was so supportive through the process during the site survey and hope to request her in another 3 years! She was informative and knowledgeable of this complicated world of DME! Kudos to Jodi! The workrooms were done quickly and smoothly with support from the coach. Thanks for all of your help HQAA! We did it!
HQAA has truly streamlined the very complicated Accreditation process. We initially chose HQAA because of their focus on the small DME provider and over the years their dedication to this class of providers has only improved.
9 years ago I had no clue of what this whole process was even about and I resented the seemingly random rules which seemed to have little to do with my daily operations.
As we prepared for this survey I realized that not only do I have a far better understanding of the process, thanks to my highly experienced and education oriented surveyors I actually understand the many ways this process applies to and benefits my company.

Jim Dehler deserves remarks higher than "exceeded expectations"! He is very knowledgeable and his expertise truly helped us in our projections for our business. Not only is he very nice but he really made our visit relaxing and educational. HQAA really cares for their clients from beginning to end. With Sara Brooks' exceptional help in the workroom and Jim Dehler's educational support during our visit, we will definitely stick with HQAA in the future and refer HQAA to other businesses we come across. We really couldn't be more pleased. Harold Davis is a businessman as well as a surveyor, and he not only does a thorough review of our business, but he offers a great consulting value. He always suggests things that have worked in his business that he thinks could help in ours.
Coming from working as an employee in the healthcare field to starting my own company in the healthcare field, I've always known about the fear of the accreditation process. There was definitely more to do than I anticipated to prepare for the survey but after it was completed, I felt thoroughly prepared for the process. The surveyor was friendly but also attentive to details and offered ways in which we could improve, be more efficient and clearly answered any questions that I had throughout the process.
I am still doing the "Final Stretch" but the Surveyor was professor, encouraging and very complimentary and we really appreciated it. He also gave us some valuable suggestions that we plan to implement in our business. It's always nice to have another "set of eyes" on our business practices. It's really nice to have someone that has been in the business give their unbiased opinion.
The survey from preparation with the aid of our coach to the actual onsite process was very well done.. I have high praise for HQAA's staff, our coach and the onsite surveyor. All phases were professionally done.
