I honestly cannot think of anything that HQAA could do to improve the accreditation experience. Everyone at HQAA is always so responsive and helpful. We truly appreciate the collaborative relationship and every opportunity given to glean from the wealth of knowledge they provide.
Our lead Surveyor, Harold is golden! He is so knowledgeable and kind and always treats you like you are his only customer. Harold is a great educator and is truly passionate about what he does.
Our staff even commented on how gracious and calming the field Surveyors were with them. Great experiences all the way around.
The process this time was so much better than last time. The workroom experience was helpful. The inspector was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He pointed out some areas of improvement as well as complemented areas that we were doing a good job in! I felt that he was here to help us be in compliance as opposed to trying to "ding" us or find fault.
By far the best experience we've had with our surveys! Patrick made it so comfortable and didn't make us feel as though he wanted to find something wrong. He was thorough, offered excellent advice where needed and also so helpful with any questions we had. This guy is a top notch surveyor and all around great person!

I recently had the opportunity to work with Corey from HQAA, and I just wanted to share my experience.
Right from the start, it was clear that Corey really knows his stuff. His industry expertise shone through, and it made a big difference in how smoothly everything went. He was super helpful and genuinely listened to our questions, which I really appreciated.
The survey was good, and as always, I had an excellent surveyor who was knowledgeable and helpful in the teaching process. There were a couple of things that I interpreted incorrectly, but Jeff sat with me and explained the process. I am always grateful for the knowledge that comes from the surveyor.
HQAA really goes the extra mile to work with its clients during the desktop review, and the validation survey process. Our surveyors and account managers worked with us to discuss the key elements of CMS regulations, and how to improve our work.
This is especially true of recommendations for our Quality and Compliance functions. Patrick was a great on-site surveyor and made additional observations, taking care to learn about our business while he went through the review process.
HQAA has been great for our company. Accreditation is stressful for staff and also brings adjustments with day-to-day operation for staff and our patient base during the survey visit. HQAA provides an approach that is next to none. HQAA is thorough with their survey process but always willing to give feedback and tips on ways the company can improve. The staff want to thank Jeff, Tina & Harold for making them all feel at ease with the process.
Curtis is always so easy to work with. He makes the process seamless, and I always take the opportunity to learn from him. I appreciate the time he takes to listen and help me if there is anything I need more direction to get completed.
Overall, the program and accreditation process were excellent, and I can't think of any areas that need improvement. I learned a great deal throughout the experience and am extremely grateful for the support and guidance provided by all the representatives I interacted with.
The surveyors and support staff at HQAA were professional and knowledgeable on every aspect of the survey process. They were thorough and took the time to answer any questions that our staff had. I would highly recommend them to any DME company that needs to go through the accreditation process.

Our surveyor, Jim, obviously has significant experience in this field. He was positive, knowledgeable, diligent, courteous with our time, and empathetic towards the challenges we face today in this industry. He was more like us - a servant in an active small business helping 'special needs' individuals as long as we can. Delightful!
I don't feel there is anything HQAA is missing with the accreditation process, from start to finish, The online workroom is designed to help understand the current and new policies, that are so important to our industry. The online coach was also very helpful with addressing questions and clarity. Our surveyor, Dean was very insightful on providing education and recommendations. I feel my company is better positioned for long-term success and compliance.
Our surveyor Giovanni was very thorough and especially educational. This was our organization's fifth HQAA accreditation survey but my first in pharmacy DME. The whole process taught me a lot and I look forward to implementing more best practices.
With my 30-year background in large health system acute care hospitals and being part of a Baldrige National Quality Award recipient's hard work, I actually enjoyed the process and the learnings.
While there's always a natural concern about meeting every standard perfectly. However, HQAA consistently demonstrates an exceptional level of professionalism through their surveyors, who are dedicated to enhancing our understanding of compliance standards. I truly appreciate this approach, as it clarifies why certain practices are necessary and empowers us to deliver better customer service and ensure client safety. These accreditation surveys are invaluable for our continuous improvement, and I am grateful for the insightful and supportive guidance provided by HQAA.
As with Steve and Jim, Giovanni is an asset to HQAA. I am happy that our team got to complete the process with him as our surveyor.
He was overly fair and offered us numerous helpful tips and pointers. His experience flowed easily to our company operations.
As happenstance had it, and we are a small company to begin with, our lead employee Tab, our business manager, was out both days of our survey. As well as our biller was on a at-home workday one of the two days, that could not be changed. Giovanni accommodated us as if we were a full staff, working around our issues smoothly and efficiently as if nothing was amiss.
We look forward to the next time with anticipation of as smooth a survey as this one was.

He was attentive to detail and made sure that we had a full understanding of all standards and was very willing to work through any questions we had. No comments for improvement from me; just praise! Working with HQAA has been such a positive experience from start to finish for our accreditation renewal. Sleep coach, Tori, and surveyor, Steve, have been super helpful and made the experience stress-free. I appreciate all their guidance throughout the process.
We will continue use HQAA for our accreditation needs in the future. The team is always accessible and very knowledgeable. We look forward to a continued relationship.
