Our HQAA visit was without issue. The surveyor was well read and was sensitive to our work environment. This was greatly appreciated.

The surveyors- Curtis and Todd (the new guy) were a perfect mix of professional and friendly / engaging. Both were ideal ambassadors to HQAA, they understood the inherently stressful period of time the business is situated in, as there is zero income during this process. Both gentlemen worked effortlessly with each other for efficiency and one-on-one coaching & educating my business partner and I. There wasn't a question that we had that did not get answered and pointed out in their supporting documentation. We came away from the surveyor visit feeling rather energized about both the dialogues we had and our overall readiness for acquiring the Medicare certification. Both men were easy to respect and their advice was clearly grounded in relevant life experience and familiarity in their vocation.
The only way I can see to improve the accreditation experience is to endeavor to reduce the wait time for O&P start-ups. We have a lot on the line in the interim.

Our Surveyor was extremely knowledgeable, professional, respectful, patient and helpful. He offered myriad suggestions, sample documents and experience with other methods to accomplish the intent of the standards. THERE IS SIMPLY NOTHING WE CAN SUGGEST FOR HIM TO IMPROVE UPON-- WE WERE BLESSED TO HAVE HIM AND TO LEARN FROM HIM. (Even after 40 years n the business, we picked up some great tips!).
I have had experience with 4 accrediting agencies, and I believe HQAA to be the very best for start-up companies. The amazing policy review and guidance provided by Tori would be such a blessing for a company just getting started. The Workroom is easy to navigate, clear and efficient, and the coaches are detail-oriented and amazing.

As always, Mike and the team made this experience a comfortable one to go through, especially with all of the different and new locations. Really appreciated the suggestions and recommendations which we plan to implement. It's great working with people that have been on our side. We really appreciate the professionalism and making our team feel at ease as they are in a time of stress lol. Thank you again.

I need to stress the "Exceeded Expectations" above - Gino was exceptional, in that he was professional, concise/thorough, educated us, etc. I have worked in Acute Care as a nurse executive for over 43 years and been visited by regulatory organizations on many occasion - this was by far the best experience. Thank you

The whole process was great- a 1000% better than The Joint Commission survey process which is not DME focused. HQAA process is more in line with the Medicare Quality and Business standards.

Everything moved very easily. The coaches, the surveyor, everything were helpful and wanted us to succeed. They offered suggestions and critiques to make us better. It was a very positive experience.

I honestly can't think of any way to improve! Tori was such a helpful, supportive, and communicative coach and handled my million questions like a champ. Giovanni brought such a calming presence and made the entire survey experience so relaxing, educational, and informative. Thank you to both so much! We hope to get to work with both again in the future.

The process is very stressful within itself to make sure you're in compliance. However; working with Corey and his temperment puts us at ease with the process. When a deficiency is found he still puts us at ease by hetping us to understand the why and how to resolve.

Our experience with Mrs. Castilla was very helpful and efficient. She visited our pharmacy on a Monday, which is our busy day of the week. She graciously took time and had patience with us getting her all that was required.

First and foremost, I want to thank HQAA and all its staff members for making an anxious requirement, anything but that.
Our workroom coach, Tori, was exceptional in helping me understand the corrections needed on policies requiring our attention before submission.
Kevin, our surveyor, was kind, knowledgeable, fair, and easy to work with. He is detail-oriented and was clear on everything he expected from us without making us feel intimidated or uncomfortable.
I look forward to working with HQAA on our next accreditation!

Both Kevin, our recent inspector, and Tori, our workroom coach really went out of their way and offered good ideas for moving forward and making the process not so stressful.
